What you'll do:Directs activities of workers concerned with implementing environmental construction projects by performing the following duties personally or through other staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of constructions.
• Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, cost control, and other workers) at start of project.
• Conducts meetings in accordance with ICON procedures for providing communication to management, customers, regulatory agencies and the general public.
• Orders procurement of contracts, insurance, bonds, and other administrative forms.
• Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
• Resolves problems in workable and cost effective ways to prevent delays.
• Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.
• Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports.
• Prepares and maintains all required paperwork as determined by the companies policies and procedures and the projects needs.
• Conducts construction activities within federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations.

What it takes to join our team:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
